For Samsung TVs

Your own IPTV subscription, in a player built for families.

Kinlo plays your M3U or Xtream source on your Samsung TV. Everyone at home gets their own profile with their own favorites, and kids only see the channels you picked.

Kinlo doesn't provide any channels. You use it with a subscription you get yourself.

Why Kinlo

Built for the way families actually watch TV

Most players on Samsung TVs are a long channel list with a video player around it. Kinlo starts with the people on the couch.

Fast

Pick your profile and you're watching. Kinlo remembers your last channel and loads your lists from the TV's memory instead of downloading them again.

Everyone starts in their own list

Each profile opens straight into its own favorites, with its own channel numbers, recently watched and preferences.

Zapping through thousands of channels

Channel up and down stay inside your active list. One button switches between favorites, a group and everything. Every channel keeps a fixed number.

Kids profile: closed by default

A child sees nothing until you allow channels. With daily screen time, a bedtime, and no way to zap around it.

Your phone is the control room

Manage the whole family from your phone. And anyone can use it as a remote and keyboard.

One license for the whole home

Set up with a QR code: no MAC address, no device key. Up to five TVs on one license. New TV? Just pair it again.

How it works

Ready in three steps

No typing a MAC address into a website. Your phone does the work.

  1. Install Kinlo on your TV

Kinlo is coming to the app store on your Samsung TV. Open it and you'll see a QR code.

  2. Scan it with your phone

Your phone opens the Kinlo app in the browser. Sign in with your email; there's nothing to download.

  3. Add your source

Enter the details of your own subscription and create profiles for the family. Your TV loads your channels right away.

Works with M3U and M3U8 playlists, Xtream Codes and XMLTV guides. More about installing

For families

A kids profile that is actually locked down

In other players, parental control is a PIN on a category. In Kinlo, a child only sees what you checked.

  • Everything is closed by default
  • Pick channels in bulk on your phone, or reuse your own template like "Morning"
  • Daily screen time and a bedtime, with a heads-up five minutes before
  • No search outside the list, no guide for other channels, no settings
  • Leaving the profile takes a parent's PIN or your phone

Phone

Scrolling and typing are faster on your phone

With thousands of channels, a touchscreen beats arrow keys. Tap a channel and the TV switches.

  • The full channel list, plus search with your phone's keyboard, including voice input
  • Zap, play and pause with one tap, plus a number pad for channel numbers
  • Manage profiles, sources and kids profiles without touching the remote
  • Family members without admin rights only get the remote

It's a web app: scan the QR code on your TV and you're in. You can add it to your home screen.

Privacy

Your subscription stays yours

Your stream goes straight from your provider to your TV. We never see it.

  • Your subscription login is encrypted on your phone. Only your own TVs can read it; our server can't.
  • Which channels you've favorited is stored encrypted too.
  • Kids profiles only hold a chosen name and avatar. What a child watches stays on the TV.
  • No ads, and never in kids profiles.

Frequently asked questions

Does Kinlo come with channels?
No. Kinlo is only a player, like a media player on your computer. You need your own IPTV subscription from a provider of your choice. Choose a provider that holds the rights to what it streams.
Which TVs does Kinlo work on?
Samsung smart TVs running Tizen. We test on models from 2019 onward. A version for LG is planned.
Why no MAC address?
Many players make you activate every TV separately with a MAC address and a device key on a website. With Kinlo, your license belongs to your account and you pair a TV by scanning a QR code.
Can my child get around the kids profile?
A kids profile has no search outside the allowed channels, no guide for other channels and no settings. Leaving it takes a parent's PIN or an admin's phone. After five wrong attempts, the PIN locks for 15 minutes.
