No. Kinlo is only a player, similar to a media player on your computer. You need your own IPTV subscription. Kinlo contains no channels, doesn't point to any providers and takes no commission from providers.

IPTV is a technology, and many legitimate providers use it. Whether a subscription is legal depends on the provider and whether it holds the rights to what it streams. Choose a trustworthy provider. You're responsible for the source you use in Kinlo.

M3U and M3U8 playlists via a link, Xtream Codes (server, username, password) and XMLTV guides, including gzipped (.gz) ones. You can use several sources per household.

Samsung smart TVs running Tizen. We test on models from 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2026. On older or budget TVs, you can turn on light mode for fewer animations. A version for LG is planned.

No, recording isn't planned. Catch-up TV is coming in a later version, for providers that support it.

Kinlo starts with live TV. Movies and series, with posters, seasons and continue watching, follow in a later version.

You can try Kinlo free for 14 days. After that, a household license costs €12.99 one-time or €4.99 per year. An IPTV subscription is not included.

Your license belongs to your account, not to a device. You pair a TV by scanning a QR code. After a factory reset or with a new TV, you pair again at no extra cost.

No. Your source details are encrypted on your phone with a key that only exists on your own devices. Our server only stores the encrypted version and can't read it. Your stream goes straight from your provider to your TV.

No. What you watch and what you watched recently stay on the TV. Even your favorites are stored as unreadable codes.

The key your data is encrypted with. If you lose your phone and have no second admin, you'll need it. You'll find it in the app under TVs. Keep it in a password manager.

Only the channels you've allowed. A new kids profile is empty. Search and the guide also only show those channels.

Only with a parent's PIN, or when an admin unlocks it from their phone. After five wrong attempts, the PIN locks for 15 minutes.

You set a daily limit and a bedtime for each child. Five minutes before, your child sees a heads-up, then an end screen. From your phone, you can grant extra time for today.
